Size and fit
The shoe is generally true to size. They are excellent but some sizes go very fast and may not be available.
Midsole / outsole
The MARANA XT RYAN SHECKLER is crafted with real demands from the professional rider and are regarded as a high-performing and highly durable shoe, thanks to the innovations of Sole Technology and its STI lab. The shoe uses the STI Evolution exposed midsole to replace EVA. It proves to be more durable, abrasion-resistant, and has more high-impact rebound cushioning than the typical EVA. The secret comes from the molecular build, which is resistant to abrasion and has a high-impact rebound quality. Therefore, it won’t pack out when landing hard.
The shoe’s Foam Lite 1 insole also provides the feet extra impact protection and cushioning. The shoe gives the ankle and feet good support and protection, especially when performing the big jumps. For excellent gripping, the shoe shares 400 NBS outsole tread, inspired by original Marana with added herringbone.
Upper
The super durable PU flow-molded toe cap enhances the most torn area for protection and longer life span. There is also the medial side perforated for breathability
